1. Controller

Select Financial Services Oy (hereinafter “Select” or “we”) processes personal data to take care of its client relationships, to enable communications with clients, and to fulfil contractual agreements. Additionally, we collect analytical data about the visitors of our website.

In addition to individual clients, Select has institutional clients and partners in cooperation whose representatives’ personal data may be processed as a part of this registry. The personal data of the representatives of our institutional customers is used solely for marketing and communications targeting the institutional entity.

Please note that this Information Security Statement & Privacy Policy only covers the processing of personal data where Select is the controller.

7. Transferring personal data out of the European Economic Area (EEA)

Contact information used in communications with clients and the statistical data collected from the use of Select’s digital systems is transferred to servers which are located in the United States. The security of this data is the responsibility of the service providers in question in accordance with the GDPR.

 

8. Recipients of personal data

Under certain exceptional circumstances we may disclose personal data to entities with whom we have operative agreements according to which the said entities are bound to limit the use of the personal data and to follow privacy and data security standards which are at least as strict as the ones in this Information Security Statement & Privacy Policy.

Under no other circumstance will we disclose your personal data to entities outside our organization, except in the following situations:

For legal reasons

Select may be obligated to disclose personal data if required by the applicable law or decree or an order from an administrative or judicial authority.

To authorised service providers

Our contracts with service providers bind them to limit the use of personal data and to follow privacy and data security standards which are at least as strict as the ones in this Information Security Statement & Privacy Policy.

You have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority should you feel that Select violates data protection laws in its handling of personal data.
